UPI QR Cash Withdrawal API
A UPI QR Cash Withdrawal API enables users to withdraw cash from a merchant outlet by scanning a QR code using a UPI app. Instead of going to an ATM, the customer can get cash directly from a nearby merchant.
How it works (Flow)
- QR Generation
- Merchant generates a dynamic QR using the API (amount + reference ID).
- Customer Scan
- The customer scans the QR via apps like Google Pay, Cred, or Paytm.
- Payment Authorization
- Customer approves the payment using UPI PIN.
- Transaction Processing
- Money is transferred from customer’s bank to merchant’s account instantly.
- Cash Disbursement
- Merchant hands over equivalent cash to the customer.
- Status Check
- API is used to verify transaction status (success/failed/pending).
